Winter Is Coming
by A Latter-day Bluestocking
I recently finished reading the first book in the A Song of Fire and Ice series, A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. I enjoyed it immensely and have just started the second book, A Clash of Kings.
I felt it appropriate, in honor of George R.R. Martin’s epic to offer, for your perusal, my winter reading list. Winter is coming.

Curious of your thoughts on The Children’s Book. I tried, but I couldn’t get through it. I love all of her work, and I thought this one was more up my alley than all the others, but I found myself bored silly. Lunch soon? : )
Alas, it’s still in my ever-growing pile of books to read. I am actually looking forward to reading it because its story is contemporary with that of Downton Abbey. Someone told me that if I loved “Possession” I would love this one too. We’ll see.
Yes, lunch soon!!! Next week soon.
